Dedicated to the memory of David Edwards

This site is a tribute to David George Edwards, who was born on the 28th of March 1930 in Llwydcoed, a small village on the hillside above the mining town of Aberdare. He was academically gifted and the first person in his family to attend University. David went on to have a very successful career with Nat West Bank before retiring but continued charitable work for several years before he had a stroke in 2011. He had a long and happy marriage (over 70 years) to his beloved wife, Nancy. He loved driving, his garden, dancing, snooker and, of course, the Welsh Rugby team. He is much loved and missed. His family and friends will never forget him.
